Local User Management
Under considerationEasily manage local user accounts on devices. Some ideas around this feature are: Creating, modifying, and removing users. Add/remove users from groups. Change passwords. Show user account stats (created date, last login date, etc) A tab on the device page that shows users and allows management Automation action to manage user accounts. Consider handling escalation privledge requests from end-users.
OS - Support for iOS and Android

Taskbar / System Tray Icon
Under considerationThe Taskbar Icon feature displays the Level app icon on Windows and macOS systems. IT teams can customize the dropdown options, giving users quick access to relevant actions and enabling automations directly from the taskbar, streamlining workflows and improving efficiency.
Wake on LAN (WOL) Support
Under considerationWake on LAN (WOL) Support allows IT teams to remotely power on devices that are turned off or in sleep mode. This feature helps with after-hours maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting by enabling seamless device management, even when machines aren’t actively in use.
Registry Editor

Under considerationThe Ad-hoc Remote Control feature lets end users quickly install Level on devices for one-time troubleshooting. This makes it easy for IT teams to provide remote support without needing a full installation, speeding up issue resolution when time matters most. You should be able to upgrade this Agent to a full Level agent after.
Security Score - Customizable Security Score
Under considerationAllow organizations to tailor the security score criteria to their specific needs and priorities. This ensures the score reflects what matters most to each organization, providing more relevant insights into their security posture.
Force update/refresh of endpoint
Under considerationIt would be nice to be able to force a manual update/refresh from the endpoint. Forcing an update for things like software list, security score and so on.
Blank Screen Control
Under considerationAdd the ability to blank the screen out with a custom message/logo of organization (or just black it out) for privacy.
Show device/user active or idle time
Under considerationWhen techs need to manage devices, it's often difficult to know if the end-user is done working. An indicator that the device is idle would be really helpful.
File Explorer 2.0

Antivirus/EDR Integration
Under considerationIt would be nice to have an antivirus integration built in to automatically install an antivirus or edr program. Even if it’s $X amount per endpoint to on the cost it would be worth it. Currently I have devices that have either Bitdefender/Webroot or Huntress EDR installed through a separate RMM tool, it’s really stopping me from switching fully over.
End-user friendly installation
Under considerationAdd a way to send installation instructions via e-mail to a user for single installation or mass deployment.
Event Viewer ("SIEM-light" logging)
Under considerationReal-time visibility into system events and performance metrics. It enables IT teams to track issues, monitor activity, and proactively address potential problems, ensuring smoother operations and faster troubleshooting.
Networking - SNMP/ping monitoring for network devices
Under considerationChose an agent to be the designated SNMP scanner on a network. Add IPs to scan and then collect SNMP metrics. This would dovetail nicely into HTTPS/SSH management as well (https://feedback.level.io/p/remote-management-of-network-devices)
Networking - Remote management of network devices
Under considerationFor devices that have SSH/HTTPS management options where Level agents can not be installed (firewalls, switches, printers, IoT devices, IP cameras, etc). Have the ability to SSH or HTTPS to a device by proxying through a Level agent on the same network.
Tamper Protection for Level
Under considerationAbility to lock Level from being uninstalled without approval from Level administrator. See SentinelOne or ThreatLocker as an example.
